With a PhD in Machine Learning and a passion for mathematical rigor, Alexandre Quemy builds at the intersection of Machine Learning, Mathematics, and Software Engineering. From financial crime detection at HSBC to synthetic data innovation at YData, his journey blends academic depth and industrial impact.
After working on IBM's main flagship - IBM Cloud Pak for Data -, he joined HSBC where he was responsible for the conception, implementation and governance lifecycle process of one of the main global financial crime detection and mitigation model used accross the group (>200M users, millions to billions transactions per month), from data quality to model monitoring.
Beyond large companies, he helps young startups to build their vision on sound scientific foundations and good engineering practices, whether it is data science (YData), synthetic data (YData, Inovintell) or LLM-based multi-agent systems (Proofs).
